Tips:
1. If you have any questions, do not be afraid to ask around.
2. Do not attack anyone without permission.
3. Do not power pose. Powerposing is when you have your character tear another character apart while taking little damage. This makes the other character seem weak and is HEAVILY frowned upon.
4. Remember to be realistic in your posts. IFWF is not science-fiction: you can't create fire, lightning, smoke by a snap of a finger, or appear and disappear in less than a second.
5. The announcers and fans might know who you are, they might have heard of you, but they have no opinion of you at first as they don't know much about you.
6. If you are heel, it's easy to get the fans hate you, simply by insulting them or other wrestlers. However, as a face, you should build up your character before they cheer you. Winning over the crowd takes time and you should reflect this when you are starting out.
7. Try not to dwell on past federations as IFWF encourages you to make a name for yourself here. We don't care what you have done or where you have been, it's what you show us that counts.
8. Title shots are earned, not handed out. Do not expect a title shot, do not ask for one. Prove yourself to us and you will earn it in time.
9. If you praise yourself - the fans won't cheer you, if you disrespect other wrestlers, especially faces - fans won't cheer you.
10. Try not to use real wrestler names, be a little creative!
Rules:
1. You have to sign a contract to be part of this fed if you don't have a contract signed in 2 weeks we will delete your account.
2. If an account is not activated within 1 week or has not been logged into in the past 2 months, Staff reserves the right to delete it.
3. Respect all members. Direct verbal harassment regarding sexual, racial, religious points toward any member or discriminative act toward a member of staff will result in warning, suspension, or banishment.
4. Overly zealous profanity, obscenity or indecency is not allowed. It is not necessary to go out of control in this way to be heelish or attack another character. Have some class.
5. Promotion of another federation via threads, posts, or Personal Messaging will result in either suspension or banishment.
6. Every individual member is entitled to up to TWO wrestlers on their profile. One profile with a MNM contract, and one with FNF. Simply change your name to "character1"/"character2". It is preferred if your characters name is in your user name.
Posting:
1. Do not Plagiarize! It's simple to go to another board or website and copy material from them that is not yours. This will not be tolerated unless you can prove that the material was yours on that site as well.
2. Do not post back to back in the same thread. Try to put everything that you have to say in one post.
3. All forums are under the control of the GMs. You must follow their rules, and not beg for matches, title shots, etc. They will have the final say over all storylines.
Role Playing Rules:
1. Every Title is to be defended at least once every 5 weeks (35 days). If you are inactive to do so or the title is not defended in that span, you can be stripped of that title.
2. In singles competition, try to keep posts equal between yourself and your opponent. Typically, if 1 person has 1 more action post than their opponent, their last post will not be counted towards the match in order to maintain an equal playing level between opponents.
3. PPV's will generally have, at most, 10 matches. You can opt for a PPV match, but the GM's hold the right to approve, set, or deny any match.
4. GM's also hold the right to give or decline any star a title shot as they see fit.
5. 3 days rule: If no one posts within 3 days since the last post in the match, you are allowed to post a second time in a row.
